    How the Bonafide Travel agent will get his Commission?

    The rates mentioned are net non commissionable, you have to add up your mark up before quoting it to the client. However, we can also make your id commissionable by adding the mark up you wishes to put.

    Can I use this site immediately?

    Travel agents must register with us before they start using this site. The registration involves filling up of a simple form with the Contact Details which will be approved by the backend team. For urgent request please call us at one of the numbers mentioned in Contact US.

    How do I receive my agency ID?

    You will receive your agency Login ID and Password once you have completed the registration form, found by clicking on the ‘becomes an Agent’ link on our homepage. Once you have registered your agency you will receive an email providing the Login ID and Password and confirming your registration. This will be sent to the email address you provided on the registration form. You will need to use your agency Login ID and Password every time you or a member of your staff signs onto the website.

    Is there anyone taking care of the bookings I make?

    What is the difference between "Available" and "On Request" confirmation?

    "Available" confirmation indicates that your request is available from our exclusive allotment space and you will receive immediate confirmation. If you book an item that is "On request" we will contact the supplier on your behalf and let you know within 48 hours if your request has been confirmed.

    Can a travel agency issue their own voucher?

    Yes you may issue conformation voucher in the name of your own company.

    Can a travel agency have their own logo on the voucher?

    Yes, we will upload your logo & you may issue conformation voucher with your Company Logo.

    Are the rates on your site per person or per night basis?

    All rates quoted on our site for accommodation bookings are almost for the duration of the whole stay. But when multiple rooms are requested then the cost may vary from entire stay to per room cost, depending on the type of rate chosen. For sightseeing tours, all rates quoted are per service for all persons. All prices include service and local taxes.

    Can i make a group booking?

    For bookings that are for 10 or more persons, please use the group query form at home page

    What currency are the rates shown in on the web site?

    The prices are shown in various currencies when you make your search for accommodation or other service. The currency convertor is also displayed on the search results page and whenever you view your bookings.

    When do bookings have to be paid for?

    The payment has to be made before cancellation deadlines and before you take a final printout of the voucher.

    What do I need to give my customers once the booking got confirmed?

    Once the bookings have been confirmed and payment has been received, you must print the vouchers for your customer. The vouchers must be presented at reception at the time of check in, or to the service provider, as evidence that the services have been booked and paid for in advance. Failure to present the voucher may result in your customers being charged again (at the full service providers published rates) or the service not being provided.

    How safe we are when we pay by credit card or net banking?

    For secure online payment, we use Secure Socket Layers to ensure the privacy of the information provided to us and at no time is the credit card details transmitted unencrypted over the internet. For further information, please refer to our 'Privacy Statement'.

    GENERAL QUESTIONS

    How do I book my flight?

    Log on to our website that is www.travpot.com and click the link for Airlines, look at the availability of flights and the corresponding fares, select the flight and fares, agree to our terms & conditions, fill in your particulars, complete the payment process, and finally generate an itinerary.

    Can I make a group booking through your site?

    At the moment, a maximum of 9 people can be included in the same ticket. For making a bulk or group booking, contact airlines.

    Can I book and hold a reservation and pay later?

    No. Hold reservation is not possible through our website.

    Do I receive a ticket when I book a ticket?

    Yes will get a confirmation via email & SMS once a ticket is booked and the print out can be used for traveling along with the identification/identity proof selected by you at the time of ticket booking. Therefore we request you to kindly ensure that the correct email ID & mobile number are entered while making the booking.

    How do flights classify an adult, child and an infant?

    Normally “Infants" are classified as those below 2 years old, child as 2-12 years and "adults" are those above 12 years.

    For more information on infant definition, we request you to contact the airline as these terms are sometimes airline specific.

    How do I book for an infant?

    If you are traveling with an infant, you need to indicate it while booking the ticket on our site. If have forgotten to let us know at the time of booking, please call the Airline Reservation Centre, quoting your booking number and inform that you are flying with an infant.

    What should I do if I need special assistance?

    Should you require any special services while you travel please call the Airline and inform them of your requirements.

    Does your site offer accept any special airline offers such as a frequent flyer program?

    No Frequent flyer programs are run specifically by the airline we will have an option for this going forward

    Is there a special fare for senior citizens and students for tickets booked though your site? 

    Generally there is no such option but in cases where the airline is providing such discounts the same will be passed on to the customer.

    I was trying to book my ticket however when I was making the payment some error popped up and the booking was not confirmed but the payment has been deducted from my account.?

    Answer: You can call our customer care to check if the booking has been confirmed, if not then the full refund will be processed and credited to the account or card from which the amount has been deducted.

    Does your site accept foreign (Non-Indian) Credit Cards?

    International cards are not accepted.

    When do you charge my credit card after I have made a booking on-line?

    The ticket booking process will be complete only after the payment has been made by the guest. Your payment will be processed immediately.

    How can I book a seat without a Credit Card?

    You can book your tickets using I Cash Card, Net Banking or Debit Cards also.

    CANCELLATION/REFUNDS

    How can I cancel a ticket on your website?

    In Travpot.com website, booked tickets will be stored in your transaction history page. Select “From” and “To” date, the booked tickets details will show. By selecting the TO CANCEL option ticket will be cancelled.

    Please note that all cancellations have to be done at least 6 hours prior to the flight departure time.

    What are the cancellation charges and how much time will take to get the refund processed?

    Cancellation charges are as per the Airline rules and policies; these are mentioned in the Fare rules for your reference. Additionally Travpot.com cancellation charges of Rs.250 per passenger per sector will be charged in addition to the above charges.

    The refund will be processed by us in 7 working days from the time of cancellation; it would take additional 4-5 working days for the bank to credit it into your account.

    Can I get a refund if I miss my flight?

    If you miss your flight, it would be considered a “No Show” and refund would depend on the airline policy. No show charges will be applicable depending on the policy set by the airlines.

    When and how will I get a refund if the flight is cancelled?

    In such a scenario, we would need the endorsement copy from the Airline stating that the flight was cancelled. You can send us the scanned copy by email and we will process the refund.

    Can I reschedule my journey? If yes, what are the charges?

    Most flights provide an option of rescheduling your journey. Rescheduling Charges may apply based on the Airline policy. Additionally there will be an administrative charge of Rs 250. You may reschedule your tickets by calling our airlines directly.

    You can pay us by either Master card, Visa or American Express. When you have booked your hotel or any other product through our site, you will find an option of credit card and you can chose to pay by any mentioned cards.

    Your credit card transactions would not attract any credit card processing charges.

    Floating Cash Deposit

    An initial deposit can be given and bookings of the same amount can be made, which will adjusted and deposit can be topped up on regular intervals to enjoy continuous booking access. You can hand deliver cash to one of our offices mentioned in CONTACT US or to one of our representative in different parts of the country.

    Credit Line

    We can also open credit line for travel trade partners against bank guarantee.

    Net Banking

    You have an option to pay us by net banking also. This facility is available with various banks. This option is available to pay once you have booked your product on our site.

    Cash/Cheque deposits in our account

    We have an account in HDFC and the account details are mentioned below. You can deposit Indian Rupees Cheque or cash into these accounts and the moment our account is credited, we will deliver you voucher for the product you have bought.
